If you are a qualified First Aider, then you are equipped with the knowledge and skills to administer first aid where required. The extensive Level 3 first aid course meets the requirements in the Health and Safety regulations (First Aid) 1981 and goes a step beyond the Emergency First Aid at Work course.

This First Aid At Work (FAW) course is ideal for all individuals or organisations who have identified a requirement for additional first aid training. This might be due to having employees or family members with a disability or a medial condition. It is also ideal for those working in high-risk environments such as but not limited to construction, manufacturing, warehousing or healthcare. This course covers treatment for various injuries and medical conditions.

Some topics covered:

  • How to access an incident

  • How to manage an unresponsive casualty

  • How to administer CPR

  • How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to carry out a risk assessment

  • How to recognise and treat a variety of injuries and medical conditions including: Bleeding, Burns, Fractures, Heart Attacks, Strokes, Seizures and Choking.
