Already operating a Forward Tipping Dumper on site?

Our NPORS N204 Experienced Worker Test (EWT) allows experienced operators to gain certification without attending a full training course. This training can take place at your site or our location.

This assessment confirms your knowledge, safety awareness and practical operating skills to NPORS standards.

Who Is This Course For?

  • Experienced forward tipping dumper operators

  • Operators whose card has expired

  • Workers needing NPORS certification for site compliance

  • Operators upgrading the NPORS CSCS Accredited card

If you have solid site experience and can safely operate a dumper, this is the quickest route to a NPORS operators card. To gain a CSCS logo you must have a in-date touchscreen test.

Course Content:

  • Health & safety knowledge

  • Rick awareness and responsibilities

  • Safe operating procedures

  • Legislation & site requirements

Practical Training:

  • Pre-start and shut-down procedures

  • Machine inspection

  • Safe maneuvering and operation

  • Safe parking and isolation

  • Loading and tipping

Entry Requirements:

  • Have prior experience operating a forward tipping dumper

  • Provide valid photo ID

  • Wear appropriate PPE

  • Have passed a CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test (If applying for CSCS card route)

How this course will help you

Existing NPORS Card Holder – No (S)NVQ Held

For operators who do not currently hold the requisite (S)NVQ, a Trained Operator card will be issued which is valid for two years from the date of application. During this two year period operators will be required to register for and achieve the requisite (S)NVQ with the unit credits applicable to the categories of plant stated on their Trained Operator card.

What kind of dumpers do you train on?

We train on Forward Tipping Dumpers both Tracked or Wheeled. Training for swivel skip dumpers can also be arranged if requested.

Is NPORS accepted on UK construction sites?

Yes, especially when issued with the CSCS logo. NPORS cards are widely recognised across construction and civil engineering sites.

Can this course be done at our site?

Yes, we offer on-site training anywhere in Norfolk & Suffolk using your plant and facilities if suitable.
