CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher

Keep your SMSTS qualification current with our SMSTS Refresher Course, designed for experienced construction site managers, supervisors and other site-based professionals who already hold a valid CITB SMSTS certificate.

The SMSTS Refresher provides an update on current legislation, regulations, guidance and best practice, helping you maintain the knowledge and skills required to manage health, safety and environmental issues effectively on construction sites.

The SMSTS Refresher is designed for delegates who have previously completed the full CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme course and need to renew their qualification.

In this course you will cover:

  • Reporting Injuries, Disease and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR)

How Long Is The SMSTS Refresher?

The SMSTS Refresher is a 2-day course. Delegates are required to complete the relevant course assessment as part of the SMSTS Refresher. Successful delegates receive a CITB SMSTS Refresher certificate, subject to meeting the course and assessment requirements.
