NPORS Telescopic Handler Course (N010) - Experienced Worker Test

Train at Our Location - Machinery Provided

Our NPORS Telescopic course is delivered at our fully equipped training location, providing safe, controlled environment for new operators to learn.

Our NPORS Experienced Worker Test (EWT) is a one-day assessment, route for competent operators who:

  • Already have substantial practical experience operating a telescopic handler

  • Do not require a full novice course

  • Need a recognised NPORS Operator Card

  • Require certification for site access

This test is suitable for:

  • Construction site telehandler operators

  • Agriculture or industrial telehandler drivers

  • Operators renewing expired certification

  • Workers needing formal proof of competence

  • Individuals moving to sites requiring NPORS card

You'll complete a written theory test covering:

  • Health & Safety legislation

  • Operator responsibilities

  • Machine components & controls

  • Pre-use inspections

  • Load handling principles

  • Stability and load charts

  • Safe operating practices

Practical Assessment:

You'll be assessed on your ability to:

  • Conduct pre-operational checks

  • Safely mount and discount the machine

  • Demonstrate correct machine controls

  • Lift, carry and place loads safely

  • Operate on various terrains (where applicable)

  • Park and shut down safely

Please note the theory assessment will need to be completed before practical training/assessment will commence and all training is carried out by a qualified instructor.
