Booked Your Haswell Training Course? Here’s What to Expect

Booked Your Haswell Training Course?

Whether it’s a CITB construction qualification or a Qualsafe First Aid or wellbeing certification, stepping into the classroom can feel a bit different from being on site / at work. Don’t worry — Haswell Training is designed to make the experience smooth, practical, and useful. From a warm welcome to experienced instructors, here’s what you can expect on your training day.

When you attend a course at Haswell Training, you can expect a professional, supportive and well-organised learning experience.

A Warm Welcome

Our team will ensure you are signed in promptly and made to feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. You’ll be greeted by friendly staff, shown around the facilities, and given all the information you need for a smooth start.

We know that coming off site and into a classroom environment can feel different, so we aim to make the transition as easy as possible. You’ll get a clear outline of the day, meet your trainer, and know exactly what to expect, no surprises, just a professional and supportive start to your training.

Whether it’s your first course with us or you’re returning for further qualifications, our welcoming environment helps you focus on learning and get the most out of your day.

Experienced Instructors

All courses are delivered by qualified, knowledgeable trainers with real industry experience, ensuring the content is practical as well as compliant.

At Haswell Training, you’re learning from people who have been in the trade themselves. Our instructors aren’t just teachers — they’re experienced construction professionals who know the tools, the sites, and the challenges you face every day.

They bring real-world experience into the classroom, sharing practical tips and examples that make the theory relevant and easy to understand. You won’t just learn to pass a course; you’ll gain knowledge and skills that you can use immediately on site.

Whether it’s navigating safety regulations, understanding site management, or mastering technical skills, your instructor is there to guide you, answer your questions, and make sure you leave confident and ready for the next step in your career.

Clear & Engaging Delivery

Training is interactive and structured to help you fully understand the subject matter, not just pass the course.

Training at Haswell is structured and practical. We keep things simple and to the point, no confusing jargon, just clear explanations and hands-on examples.

Whether it’s understanding health and safety rules or mastering new techniques, your trainer ensures you fully grasp each topic before moving on. The focus is on making learning relevant, useful, and easy to remember.

 Comfortable Learning Environment

Our training rooms are clean, professional, and set up for focused learning. You’ll have a desk, all the materials you need, and a space where you can ask questions, take notes, and practice skills safely.

The environment is designed to feel welcoming, even if it’s your first time in a classroom setting.

Comfort Breaks & Lunch During Your Training Day

We understand that a full day in the classroom is different from being out on site — so we make sure there are regular breaks built into your training day.

Comfort Breaks

There will be scheduled short breaks throughout the day, giving you time to grab a drink, use the facilities and reset before continuing.

Regular short breaks are built into the day so you can grab a drink, use the facilities, and recharge. We have tea, coffee, water, squash, and biscuits available to keep you refreshed throughout your training.

 Lunch Break

A lunch break is also included. You’re welcome to bring your own food to eat in our dining area, or you can leave the training centre to purchase lunch locally and return in time for the afternoon session.

Your trainer will confirm the exact break times at the start of the course to keep the day running smoothly while making sure everyone stays focused and refreshed.

Reasonable Adjustments

Everyone learns differently, and we’re here to support you. Any reasonable adjustments noted on your booking form will be reviewed and considered, so we can make sure you feel comfortable and able to get the most from your training.

Exam Preparation & Support

Where applicable, your trainer will guide you through the assessment requirements and make sure you feel confident before completing any test or assessment.

Where your course includes an assessment or exam, your trainer will guide you every step of the way. You’ll get advice on what to expect, practice opportunities, and plenty of support to make sure you feel confident when it comes to the final test.

Our goal is that you leave not only qualified, but ready to apply what you’ve learned straight away on site.

 Ongoing Support

If you have questions before, during or after your course, our team is always happy to help.

Even after your course finishes, our team is available to answer questions or provide advice. We want you to succeed, both in your assessments and on site, and we’re here to help make that happen.

Once you have successfully completed your course, we will ensure that your relevant certificates are promptly issued and sent to you.

Attending a Haswell Training course isn’t just about passing a test — it’s about gaining knowledge and skills you can use straight on site. With friendly support, hands-on guidance, and a comfortable learning environment, you’ll leave confident, qualified, and ready for the next step in your construction career. Book your course, turn up, and get ready to learn from the best in the trade.
