Welcome to team Haswell and our First Blog!

Our aim is to share a weekly blog exploring all things Haswell and training related – so if you have any ideas of what you would like to see – add a comment below!  So I suppose the best place to start is with us – the team at Haswell Training Limited.  We were officially established as a team in late 2023, born out of a shared passion for delivering quality training and exceptional customer service.

So the name, Haswell Training Limited.  We wanted our name to really represent our training passions:

  • HAS = Health and Safety

  • WELL = Wellbeing

The Health and Safety elements of the company are established and will continue to grow and expand throughout our first 12 months.  The wellbeing side is being carefully developed and piloted in the background to ensure we when we launch, we can really provide what is needed (and missing!) in current provisions.

If you are reading this blog, you must have landed on our newly launched website – welcome!  We have been working hard over the past few months to improve the accessibility of what we provide via our website.  We launched an initial website at the start of the company to help swiftly share information, however over the past few months we have been reviewing its functionality to ensure it works best for you – our customers and potential customers!  Hopefully you will find the website easy to navigate – our founding principle was based on customers having to click the absolute minimum number of times to find what they need.  No information should be buried within the website making it difficult to find – so if you struggle to find what you are looking for – please do let us know!

We have housed our various courses within subsets to make navigation as easy as possible:

  • First Aid

  • CITB Site Safety Plus

  • Health and Safety in Construction

  • Health and Safety in the Workplace

  • Mental Health and Wellbeing

  • Plant Training

  • Online Training

We also now have a booking calendar so you can clearly see when our courses are running throughout the months.  The ability to pay directly via our website for both our in-person classroom and online training is also now here.  Hopefully these changes will achieve our aim – to make access high quality training as straight forward and stress free as possible.

Check back into the blog next week for an introduction to the team!
